Noted for his sunny disposition and excellent all-around play, Ernie Banks was always a favorite of Cubs fans. "Mr. Cub" was an 11-time All-Star, was twice voted the NL Most Valuable Player and knocked 512 home runs during his 19-year career with the Cubs.
